Terms & Conditions
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of booking is automatic loss of deposit. Where hireage has
been paid in full beforehand, cancellation on day before / day of
hireage incurs €50.00 charge (Refund will be less €50.00). Non use of
inflatable due to bad weather does not mean refund/deduction. Where a
unit has been delivered, set up and accepted by the client, full
remuneration of the hireage rate or balance due must be paid on
delivery.
Facilitation
A
front, side or rear external entrance to the premises must be provided
to enable the unit to be installed. Please remove any dust and recycling
bins or any other items that may conflict with access and egress to the
proposed setup area. Ensure that the proposed setup area is level and
clear of all obstacles. Remove any washing lines, children’s toys,
picnic tables etc and any other items that may inhibit the unit’s safe
erection. THE PROPOSED SETUP AREA MUST BE COMPLETELY FREE OF ALL
ANIMAL WASTE. Jumparound Ltd reserves the right to refuse unit
installation to an animal fouled area. If access / egress to the setup
area is proposed to be via the inside of the premises, the hirer accepts
full responsibility for any damage howsoever caused to the furnishings,
fittings and fabric of the premises. The hirer is advised that water /
debris can deposit from the unit especially after a period of bad
weather. Jumparound Ltd WILL NOT be held liable for any damage or
subsequent damage caused. Public Areas: If the hirer proposes to install
the unit on a public area such as an estate green or communal area, they
must seek written permission of the local authority or responsible
agency. A copy of that permission must be furnished to Jumparound Ltd
prior to the hireage. On arrival at the customer’s premises, Jumparound
Ltd reserves the right to refuse unit hireage and seek full payment at
the current daily rate if the customer cannot produce satisfactory
evidence of such permission.
Safety Instructions
Inflatables
It is
the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all possible steps are
taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable. Please ensure that
the following safety instructions are followed:
The
age limit for a children’s inflatable is 12 years. For persons over that
age, an adult inflatable is required. No food drinks or chewing gum are
to be consumed on the inflatable (to avoid choking & mess). A cleaning
charge of €50.00 will be charged if the Inflatable is collected in a
dirty condition. All shoes, badges, jewellery, (i.e. large earrings,
necklaces etc.) MUST be removed. It is recommended that spectacles are
also removed. No face-paints, party-poppers, coloured streamers or
"silly string" must be used near or on the inflatable, as they can make
a terrible mess and permanently stain the unit. No smoking near the
inflatable. Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls is DANGEROUS
and must not be allowed. A responsible adult must supervise the
inflatable at all times. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO OPERATE THE UNIT ON
THEIR OWN. Ensure that the inflatable is not overcrowded, and limit
the numbers depending on age and size of persons using it. If persons
are colliding into each other then it is over-crowded. Under no
circumstances should the maximum number of users be exceeded. This
number is detailed on the specification chart on the front of the unit.
Try to avoid large children and small persons from using the inflatable
at the same time. Some children require strict supervision. Pets, toys,
shoes or sharp instruments are not allowed on the inflatable at any
time. If the inflatable is not being used for any part of the day,
please switch the blower off at the mains, this will reduce your
electric bill. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the step/front apron.
The step is there to help users get on and off. Persons are not to push,
collide, fight or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress
to others. Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems
are allowed on the inflatable. Do not allow users to be on the unit
during inflation or deflation. In the event of heavy rain, it is
strongly recommended that the inflatable be switched off. Any wetness,
including bubbling can be dried with a towel. A small picnic table
placed over the blower, will help prevent rain-water being sucked into
the blower, and then into the inflatable. Do NOT move this unit
from where it has been set up. Do not use the unit near any swimming
pools. Ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at
all times. Ensure that an area of 6 feet (2 metres) around the unit is
completely clear. In winds of 20 miles per hour or greater please remove
users and switch off power to the inflatable. If you are unsure about
anything, please
contact us.
Bubble Machines
The
unit is supplied with a quantity of pre mixed bubble fluid for your
convenience. Using the container supplied, fill the discharge tray at
the front of the unit to the “FULL” level mark. You will have to top up
the fluid at regular intervals. Do Not Fill Above The Full Line
Position. The unit is ready for operation. There are two power switches
on the rear of the machine – one marked power, one marked remote. Under
NO circumstances may both switches be in the ON position at the same
time – the switch marked “Power” is for continuous use only – i.e. the
bubble machine is permanently producing bubbles. The switch marked
“Remote” is used when the unit is being controlled via the remote time
delay controller (separate controller supplied – i.e. the bubble machine
trips in and out producing bubbles after a time interval). Only one
power switch on the unit is to be used at any one time. If using the
time delay controller, set the interval and duration knobs to the
required settings. The duration setting determines the elapse time of
operation. This can be set for 3 seconds to a range of 30 seconds. The
interval setting determines the time delay between automatic operations.
It can be set for up to 5 minutes. From time to time bubbles can build
up around the front mouth of the unit and inhibit the bubble flow.
Simply push these off to one side and this will re-establish the correct
bubble flow.
Air Dancers
In
winds of 10 miles per hour or more, switch off the unit (it will be
ineffective anyway because the character will not stay erect in winds
above 5 miles per hour). No standing over, climbing, or sitting on the
unit under any circumstances as this may cause the inflatable character
to collapse and subsequently be sucked into the motor from below. In the
event that the character is sucked into the fan motor, switch it off
immediately to avoid the motor being burned out. Call Jumparound Ltd
immediately.
When switching the unit off, have another adult
support the fabric character while it deflates. This will
only take a second or so.
Sumo Suits / Kangaroo Boxing
No more
than two people may operate the suits at any one time. These units may
be used by either adults or children. The appropriate size suit must be
selected. Do not allow children to use adult suits or vice versa. The
units are supplied with headgear and neck braces which MUST be
worn at all times whilst using the units. The kangaroo boxing gloves
must be worn at all times. Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls of
the wrestling ring is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed. Do not
allow anyone to bounce on the wrestling ring walls or archway. Try to
avoid larger persons and smaller persons from using the units at the
same time – keep them balanced – this will make the competition equal.
Gladiator
This
unit may be used by either adults or children, but no more than two
occupants at any one time. The adult Pugil sticks may only be used by
adults. The smaller Pugil sticks may be used by adults or children. The
unit is supplied with headgear which MUST be worn at all times
whilst using the gladiator. The inflatable bed is NOT an
inflatable bouncer.

equipment is in the hirers’ possession or any other loss, howsoever
caused, in the absence of the negligence of Jumparound Ltd or its

control whilst in use rather than Jumparound Ltd, any liability for
injuries or other losses caused other than in the circumstances
described above rests with the hirer. Accordingly, it is strongly
recommended that the hirer has adequate public liability insurance
covering his or her liability arising from the use of the unit. N.B.
When the unit is delivered to your premises and subsequently erected for

and terms and conditions of hire as detailed. It is also an agreement of

damage or theft. Refusal to provide a signature will result in voiding
of the contract, cancellation of the hireage or sale and removal of the
unit from the hirer’s premises. We thank you for taking the time to
